Hello,

I have Motorola MPX-220 with WM 2003 SE. I can't get it to sync with my
Exchange Server through Active Sync.

I am using Actice Sync 4.1.

I get this odd message on my phone under Active Sync.

"Unable to connect verify your dailup or Proxy settings are correct and try
again."

I have verifed I am getting a connnection to the phone, as I can easily
browse the phone and copy files back and forth.

I have followed the directions using a MS document 'Connecting Mobile and
Remote Users'

I have even disabled Certificate verification using the certchk tool from
MS.

I can easily sync through the desktop, but not through my Exchange Server.

Please help any suggestions?

Thank You for your time and Help

I have the same exact problem suing AS 3.8. I don't know that you can use AS
4.1 with WM 2003. That's what it looked like on MS' website at least. They
said if you are using Windows Mobile 2003, go <here> for AS 3.8.

Let me know if you figure it out. Mine connects good and everything, but as
soon as I try and configure it to connect to the Exchange Server, it says
something like "cannot update settings at this time" or something like that.
When I manually configure the settings, it gives the error you posted.
