I have receintly switched from Palm devices to Windows Mobile 2003 SE device
(Dell Axim 50v). When nI make an appoint in Outlook, I record service
information, phone number, address, driving instructions, etc. in the notes
section of the appointment window. In the Palm Calendar (using third party
conduit) the appointment notes would show up in the Notes tab. However, in
the Windows Mobile Calendar, none of the information recorded in Outlook's
Appointment Notes shows in the Notes tab. Is this not possible or am I doing
something wrong? Since, most of my buisness is done on site, i need ready
access to my Appointment Notes.

Hi,
The Notes entered within the appointments should appear on your device under
the Notes tab. Have you tried creating a new appointment with Notes content
and tried syncing it back... does it appear?

Please log in for more thread options Every Appointment I make in Outlook 2003 has a note entry. None of the
Outlook appointment notes appear in the PPC Calendar Nots tab.

Please log in for more thread options More to the story- If I create a new appointment in PPC Calendar, the
appointment Note data syncs OK with Outlook 2003. However, if I try to add a
Note to an existing PPC Calendar appointment that was synced from Outlook
2003, the Note tab writing area is disabled. Nothing can be entered at all
into the Note tab. I'm begining to think that it was a mistake to switch to
PPC from Palm. Microsoft doesn't seem to take PPC's seriously.

Please log in for more thread options Are there any calendar entries that have been imported into Outlook by any
chance?
You could try running Detect & Repair feature available under the Help menu
in Outlook to scan the pst file. Additionally, you can also try running the
Scanpst utility to check for any corruption in the PST file (the file that
stores your Outlook data). Search for scanpst.exe on your computer.
You will need to run it against the .pst file. If you are unable to locate
the path of the .pst file, do the following:
1. Open Outlook.
show/hide quoted text
2. Click File -> Data File Management
3. This should list all the PST files that are present. Click Open Folder
and you should find the storage path of your *.pst file.
