I have been having a problem with synchronizing calendar events/appointments
created in Outlook 2003. Events/appointments created on my device (which is
an HP iPAQ h2215) are synchronized perfectly (even if they get modified in
Outlook 2003 after synchronization). However, events/appointments created in
Outlook 2003 do not synchronize. I was told in another posting that this may
be because of open-ended recurring events. First of all, I am not sure
whether this problem (assuming it is the reason for my problem) is caused by
my device or Outlook. I believe I have all updates, patches, and service
packs for Outlook 2003 (I don't want to upgrade to Outlook 2007 yet), so if
the problem is in Outlook 2003 I don't think there is a fix available yet.
But if the problem is due to my device, I am wondering if buying a new
device that uses Windows Mobile 6.0 might solve my problem. Can anybody give
me any information about this?

Nathan, I am having the same problem but also with the time which
keeps changing to 1 hour behind my PC time when I synch. I am using
Vista's WMDC 6.1, Outlook 2003 and WM 5.0. If you hear of a
resolution, let me know.

It sounds to me like you did not get one of the updates, I would check the
Windows Mobile site to make sure you have all the updates for Windows Mobile
5.0. I haven't found a solution for the synchronization problem yet, but
I'll let you know if I do, and you do the same for me. Good Luck, and
thanks.
