Get following error message when trying to sync my Ipaq with a database on
my pc

A synchronization partnership cannot be created because the source database
name is too long. Choose OK to copy the databas without synchronizing it or
choose Cancel to end this operation, rename your source databas, and try
again later.

So how long can the name be.

I was using the file name RdRecruit06.mdb

I get the same message. If I change the name of the .mdb to say 1.mdb then
it skips that error message but then I get a 'remote procedure call' error.
Why can't I do something as simple as copy an Access .mdb file over to my
handheld pc running Windows Mobile 5.0.??? This is crazy.

Hi,
Apparently you were not told that Microsoft chose to drop support for
converting Access tables to CDB format for the Pocket PC. Developers were
told with Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition that CDB conversion would no
longer be supported with the next release.
