On my Treo 700w, when I try and synchonize with ActiveSync 4.1, I get the
following error.

Synchronization cannot be completed successfully. Reconnect your device and
try again. If the problem persists, see the Microsoft ActiveSync
Troubleshooter in Microsoft ActiveSync help on your desktop computer.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook 2003, ActiveSync 4.1 and Norton
Antivirus 2006.

Having exactly the same problem but I've notice that contact and calendar
change actually do sync. I don't sync email. Regardless I'd love to see a
solution before I simply delete the device from ActiveSync and start over
again.

Thanks.

The calendar syncs but the others do not. Any other ideas?

I finally called verizon and they put in touch with Palm at no charge.
Spent 1.5 hours on the phone and eventually had to hard boot. Take the
time to talk through Palm. Shane was the rep. Ask him about all the
undocumented tricks one can do.

Doesn't hard reboot just clear the memory forcing you to set up the active
sync partnership again?

And don't hold back on the tips and undocumented things you leaned; post
them here or email me directly.
