 Is there a way to sync files using the File Sync in ActiveSync to a file
share/mapped drive? In the settings I see that it will not let you change it
off of the users profile directory. I've tried hacking the reg where this
path is stored to no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

short answer is no... suggest syncing them to the ppc's memory card
using a card reader and a pc based file sync program.
