After losing battery charge and haveing to re-sync my Compaq 3955 I started
getting two errors I had not seen before (the errors started in an old
verson of ActiveSync and continued after upgrading to 4.2):



1. When synchronizing "Inbox": - Synchronization cannot be started
because you are not able to log onto the network and access information.
Restart your desktop and synchronize again. IF the problem persists,
contact your network administrator.



2. "Notes" - says "attention required". Clicking on "Resolve items."
brings up: Items of one or more information types cannot be synchronized.
Disconnect and reconnect your device. To view all error messages and dialog
boxes that require your input, you must connect to this computer via
infrared or serial/usb cable.

I am running a standalone desktop under XP Pro (no network) and Outlook
2002.

Any suggesions on what is happening and how I can fix it would be
apprecited.

Hi,
Did you have to setup a new partnership or restore? If so then you may have
to delete the existing partnership in order to sync.
