 There is a Dell PowerVault 715N NAS connected to our network that says
it is running Windows 2000 5.00.2195 SP2. This is an older device and I
know that their newer models run Storage Server 2003. Is this a "Storage
Version" as well, or would youthink a regular install?

I'm not really familiar with this device, but noticed that it seems to
be missing about 30 security updates and patches. Since this is a NAS
device, do I need to be concerned about these updates? I'm acutally
concerned that if I tell it to download and install all of them that the
device will sotop working!

 Dell would (perhaps) be your friend on this to let you know of known
issues expected on changng the service level of the OS, and on whether
upgrade of that device to W2k3 Storage Server is possible (there is no
such thing in the W2k lineup).
