Stopped working -> uninstalled -> can't reinstall Jeff Key 06-21-2005

After logging in this morning, I got a dialog box saying that search couldn't
start, and I needed to reinstall it with the latest from toolbar.msn.com. I
uninstalled, rebooted, downloaded the latest and tried to install it, but got
the message:

"MSDN Search Toolbar could not be update. To ensure you have the latest
version, please remove and then reinstall MSN Search Toolbar from
http://toolbar.msn.com."

That's exactly what I'd already done.

What can I do now?

I have the same problem, were you able to fix it? I can't find any fixes
either...

Unfortunately not. I sent a query to the support folks and should have a
response w/in 18 hours.

Have seen the same thing and it doesn't appear to have been fixed in the
latest version.
