I have designed a website using W3 standards (HTML 4.01 Strict and CSS
2.0). The website validates using the W3 validators.

When I try to view this using my Pocket PC (O2 XDA IIs) Internet
Explorer just gives up and closes down. I see no content before this
happens.

The website is: http://www.nprie.info

Any thoughts? The site isn't graphically rich (certainly no more so
than other pages I have no problems viewing) and doesn't use frames or
Javascript etc (but I am able to view sites that do).

Many thanks

Steve B

Without a thorough analysis, I will venture to guess the problem
lies in the use of CSS 2.0, which was largely abandoned in favor of
CSS 2.1. On top of that, the final, official specification for CSS
2.1 has not yet been published. Few (if any) browsers implement
the entire draft specification for CSS 2.1 although many newer
browser versions do implement much of it. I have heard that IE in
particular implements very little of CSS 2.1 (or even 2.0).

I use Mozilla as my Web browser because I want a browser that
complies with Web standards. See <URL:http://www.mozilla.org/>.

Thanks. I disabled the stylesheet and the page downloads. This is very
frustrating. It isn't a particularly complex stylesheet.

But thanks for your help

Steve
