in media center check SPDIF pass thru for your sound in the mpeg decoder
options. If you use Nvidia Decoder go to Nvidia Settings under More
programs, Select Audio Video Playback Settings; Audio Advanced Settings;
Speaker Setup and select No downmixing (SPDIF passthru). That should no
longer downmix audio to the soundcard and should send out the audio to the
audio receiver in pure digital form.
