Recently when I try to watch any TV channel thru Media Center, I hear a
constant ringing/beeping type sound, instead of the regular audio. I only
hear this
sound when trying to watch live TV. My recorded TV shows sounds just fine and
my other applications audio sound fine as well. I can't think of anything
I've changed recently to have caused this sound issue. Any suggestions would
be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Does it happen in all the channels? What happen if you play DVD?Does
restart help?
During that time press ALT+TAB keys-do you still get sound?
Make sure you have all the drivers updated.

It happens on all channels. DVD plays just fine. All related drivers up to
date. I tried restarting PC with no luck.

I decided to try turning PC off and unplugging the TV tuner from my PC and
then plugging it back in. Media Center then forced me to reconfigure my TV
tuner and it is working now! So I'm not sure what the problem was, but
luckily it is working now. Thanks for your help.
