You need to connect the STB audio out to the audio in of the TV card not the
sound card. The connector(s) should be right next to the s-video input.

OK....so the "tuner card" is the tuner card on the PC....right?

It is the same "slot" as where it has connections for cable...S-Video and
another one I can not remember what it is....ATSC? or something like
that.... there is a little jack for audio....is this where I am going? I'm
not sure what kind of connector that is but it looks something like a
connector for headphones....this is where I am going? I need RCA jacks on
one end and what is it that I need on the other end?

My STB has a digital out...can I go from there to my TV Tuner card? What
kind of connection would I require for that?

Again....thanks ever so much for your assistance!!!!

If your tuner has a digital-In then you could use the digital-Out from the
STB, otherwise if you have you probably have a standard audio mini jack on
the tuner card (like on many sound cards).

You can find a RCA-->Mini converter at most stores that have
computer/electronic stuff; even a big discount place like Target will
usually have one.
