Hi all,

I lost recovery disk of my Vaio VGN-B99GP. However, my laptop had so
many problems, I had to format and reinstall WinXP. I have a back up of
Driver folder so that I can install driver for sound, vga, network
card, wireless, modem..... But the keyboard can not used Fn keys. I
guess I need the special software to control function keys, I search a
lot on SONY sites but not found anything can work with VGN-B99GP.

Anyone know how to "active" the function keys ?

Thanks and Best Regards.
Happy Lunar New Year.
Tai, Tiet.

Go to

Download and install the Sony Shared Library, Sony Notebook Control
Device, and the Sony Programmable I/O Control Device Driver.

These are for the VGN-B100 on the US site and will likely work for your
ANZO laptop. If not, then visit the Sony Euro site.

HI Q

Which your reply, i continued research and finally, i can make these
function keys work. You are right, we need Sony ShareLib and Sony
Utilities and Hotkey program. I follow the instruction of the site
below:
http://www.djvagon.co.uk/sonyhotkeyutility.html

However, my laptop has 2 programable keys that are S1 and S2. As
orgininal, Sony assigned "Mute" to S1, leave S2 free. Now, I want to
assign as they did but .... googling :)

Thanks for your help so much.
