Unfortunately, that would be SPAM and Junk Mail. Depending on your email program
there are filtering programs that might help lessen the amount of junk that
makes it through to your inbox. Some are free and some will cost money. Your ISP
might also provide SPAM filtering software and a method for reporting SPAM that
made it to you. Posting your real email address in a newsgroup post is a sure
way to get more SPAM delivered to you as email addresses are often harvested
from newsgroups and the web. Note that my email is used on this post and that
address gets about 20 pieces of junk daily. In total, between a number of email
addresses, I can get up to 60% of all mail being SPAM/Junk. I use Outlook for
Mail and have a subscription to Cloudmark (www.cloudmark.com) that keeps about
99% of it from reaching my inbox. I still have to download it, but it goes to a
Junk mail folder.

I have used Cloudmark Desktop (formerly known as SpamNet) for several
years, and it does keep close to 100% of all spam out of my inbox.
