Hello:
Are you aware of any third party devices & software that link to the Windows
Mobile 5.0 Verizon 6700 SmartPhone, say a MiniSD card to USB to external hard
drive? Or could Bluetooth be used to a Bluetooth enable hard drive, etc.? Or
how about the ActiveSync cable to USB...could that be plugged into an
external hard drive with third party software?

Thanks,

Steve Walsh

Nope, nothing like that. Were some PC card options for this sort of thing
when iPaqs had PC card sleeves.

Technically, sure, but I don't know of any BT enabled drives.

Nope, needs a host USB capability and the vast majority of the USB
implementations in WM devices is client. That's a hardware thing BTW. There
are Host USB CF cards, but that doesn't help those with SD and Mini-SD much.

Not exactly ;-)
At least the TI OMAP850 is USB 2.0 On-The-Go compliant - which means it
is capable of being USB 2.0 device and host. The problem is just that
HTC does not make the appropriate drivers. So it is a software issue,
but not solvable by the end user.
