WM6 Appears to come with the Feature to LOCK your phone. This is great for
those that would like to use this feature. But what if you have a colleague
that wants to borrow your phone for a quick call because his battery died...
You unlock it, hand it over, and he walks off to make a private phone
call... and takes with him FULL access to all of your private pictures, text
messages, e-mails, recent call information, picture messages, etc. I once
had a Motorola V710 Cell phone and I could lock each application on my phone
independently. I can set ONE password and decide which applications would
prompt for that password. I actually don't want to lock my PHONE at all.
It's a pain to unlock my phone every time I want to use it... I just want to
secure my e-mails, pictures and text messages. Also, a locked phone can be
used to dial 911 which is great... but what if I have a non emergency -
emergency? I've been forced to lock my entire phone so it cannot be used -
yet I want someone to be able to use my phone to call a friend to pick me up
because I've had too much to drink (not something you call 911 for) or
something like that. This feature just seems like common sense to me. Is
this possible, Can a Developer Write Something like this into WM6? Has one
already been written? New Feature in WM7? Thank You for any input or
considerations in advance.Good Day-Mike

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but if you use Microsoft
Voice Command, you can place calls with your voice without unlocking your
device. To enable this, go into the Voice Command settings and set
"Availability" to "Always Available" or, on a touchscreen device, uncheck the
"Password Protected" checkbox.
