I was reading over a thread on OSNN and came across how you can create
custom shortcuts for use with the Windows Desktop Search bar and as a
result I will be creating some of my own now - the shortcut feature is
awesome!

That being said, the one complaint that I saw repeatedly on OSNN was
the lack of the Windows Desktop Search bar to act in the same fashion
as the Address Toolbar that so many people have begun using in their
taskbars. I whole heartedly agree! I love the Address Toolbar but
would rather just have one toolbar in my taskbar as I like my real
estate as well.

So I am wondering outloud if (actually via this post) if a shortcut
could be made for the Windows Desktop Search bar that would call the
Address Toolbar thereby enabling me to gain back some much needed space
on my task bar?

By the way, here is a link that I came across on OSNN for a bunch of
shortcuts; http://www.bibleplayer.com/toolbarshortcuts/

Thanks in advance!

I am replying to myself. I was out on OSNN asking this same question
and a better approach has been suggested. I should try using the WDS
bar for everything that I use the Address bar for first, and then if I
find something that the WDS bar can't do, post that information.

I think that will be easier then shooting in the dark. :-)
