I'm not sure when this happened but a client called me today saying he could
not connect to the server. I went onto the server to check things and when I
right click on a folder, ther "sharing and security" option is not there.
So, I went into the computer manager to see what shares there were and it
gave me an error saying that the server service was not started. So, I went
into Services and tried to start the server service and get error 5: Access
Denied. Any ideas what is going on? Thanks in advance for your help. I have
not tried a reboot yet. The server is heavily used and reboots can't be done
until night time usually.

Verify that you are logged on as a local administrator and make sure that
file and print sharing is enabled on the network adapter. Look in Event
Viewer to see if anything pertinent is recorded in the logs that may be of
help. --- Steve

I was able to reboot and everything appears to be working fine now.
