I have recently been having issues with my shared folder. I have all of my
music in there, not for outside sharing but interuser sharing. Suddenly it
only lets the person that added the song to the folder have access to add it
to a list or play it or whatever. I dont know if somewhere along the line in
my tinkering that I screwed something up with permissions or something but it
obviously is messed up. I know how to get in there and change ownership and
add myself and give permissions and I even did it on the main folder with
children inherit this but it doesnt seem to continue with new folders or
songs or anything.
Either what are the defaults, or is it a totally different issue that I need
to address?
