Check out this site http://www.panoramaexplorer.com/

It's a new kind of sharing your photos.
Tag your photos from the world on an earth map by uploading them on
Panorama Explorer. You have unlimited storage and a powerful photo
management interface.

Any idea who is providing/maintaining the Panorama Explorer
application? I would like to contact them with a thought about
enhancing the site to enable use of GeoRSS (www.georss.org) enabled
feeds.

Thanks

Carl

Hi Carl

There is no company involved so far - it's a kind of an "experimental"
project by me (and partly some friends). Official email :
contact@panoramaexplorer.com

At the moment there is no need for other data sources - I think this
would just confuse the users. But if the site keeps going I might
consider to include other sources as well - I've already experimented
to feed GPS data of mountain bike tours and it really rocks !

Another issue is that IE 6 has quite some problems rendering more than
100 markers or polylines. I've found a workaround regarding the
markers, but more interestingly, in the field of GIS, are the other
objects such planes, areas w or w/o holes - rendering them might not be
quite performing.

Thank you & regards
Jam
