Please log in for more thread options Ok, I just tried what you suggested and this is what happened:
when I rediscovered the services on my PC from my Smartphone, it had only
two boxes (services) available. One of them was "Serial Port", and the other
was "Headset". When I check-marked both boxes (services) and selected the
done key on my phone, my Dell (PC) Bluetooth only recognized the Headset
service and said nothing abort the Serial Port. Also when I go back and try
to rediscover the services on my PC from my Smartphone, the box next to
"Serial Port" is checked and the box next to Headset is unchecked again. I
also tried un-pairing and re-pairing the two devices, but the result was
still the same.
So I guess my problem is how do I get my PC to realize that my Smartphone
wants to connect to the "Serial Port" service? Or I could be wrong (I
probably am) and that has nothing to do woth the real problem.
I hope this helps to futher explain my question.
