Back in MCE2k5, users had the ability to add in independent folders for "My
Music," "My Videos," and "My Pictures."
In Vista, those 3 are now bundled together, which make it "easy" to add
media. However, this leads to tremendously confusing navigation for the end
user.
On a system that I have set up, I have seperate folders for Music, Pictures,
Videos, etc. Some of the music on there is stored in FLAC (free lossless
audio codec), which I've gotten to work and show up within the Music Library
along with downloaded cover art.
The problem now is that when we go into the "Pictures" function, the Music
folder also appears, and shows the album art. It tends to cause confusion
for a non "tecnically-inclined" user.
Is there some way to revert back to the old style of having separate
"watched folders" for each function, just like in MCE2k5? I would feel
comfortable editing the registry if a solution is available via that method
as well.
Thanks in advance!
