 Hello, I need to set my ip when I want to connect my smartphone to my wifi
router.
I can connect my router (all works fine) except for the ip setup of my
smartphone. I can only select "renew ip" but it doesn't do what I want
because I want to set the ip of my network adapter (as in Windows XP for
example).
Is it possible to set an ip or have I to add a new soft ?

 You can set a manual ip in the network adapters section...
start/settings/connections/netcards/netadapters/...

might want to take a look at http://BevHoward.com/NetWk.htm for some
additional tips

Also, post your router make/model/firmware version as well as your ppc
make/model

a few years ago, many of the home routers had problems "seeing" wince
devices on the network... upgrading their firmware to the latest
versions will help in most cases.
