 I'm planning on building a new computer soon.

Will I have to install Service Pack 2 after installing Windows XP Media
Center Edition 2005? Or is Service Pack 2 already built into Windows XP Media
Center Edition 2005 since it's such a new release?

 MCE 2005 already includes Service Pack 2.

To confirm that service pack 2 is installed, goto Start, Run and type
'winver'
The second line should end with "Service Pack 2"
