Please log in for more thread options
 I have XP Home and I have tried to install service pack 2 several times but
it gets so far and then I get a message that says "Access denied" and then
the upgrade is reversed.
Can anyone help please ??

I ran into this last week, I rebooted into safe mode and installed sp2
without a hitch.
try this incase you don't feel like playing with the registry provided by
another poster.
