 I have renamed the Administrator account on my domain. I have one Windows
Server 2003 server that refuses to allow me to log on with the renamed
account. It will allow me to log on using the old account name and password
only. All the other servers on my domain recognize the renamed account and
password. Any advise on how to fix this would be appreciated.

 Given the information you have provided, I'd say - connect the server to the
network.

Additional information that could help - the error message; whether you can
log on using any other administrative (or not) account, or connect to the
server using management tools; and if computer account is okay in AD.

Can you grant login right to a domain account that has never
ever logged into that machine and then successfully log in ?
Does the event log (provided enabled to so log) showing that
the login by the old name was a cached login ?
As Slav indicated it basically sounds like the machine is not
in proper contact with domain control.

You guys were both correct. I checked and this server, our web server,
wasn't part of the domain. Thank you.
