"Server Authentication Certificate" option not available SteveM 02-21-2008

Greetings all.
I'm trying to install a Server Authentication Certificate in an ISA server
to allow RCP over HTTP. My environment has a Stand-Alone Root CA chained to a
Subordinate Enterprise CA. The Root CA is stored offline. We have an
IIS/Exchange backend web server that has applied for and received its
certificate. I am now attempting to apply for a server certificate on the ISA
server. (per the
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/isa/2004/plan/digitalcertificates.mspx
directions for "Certificates from a Local Certification Authority Procedure
2: Install a Server Certificate")

The snag I have run into is that "Server Authentication Certificate" is not
an availible option via the CA web site, nor is it available via the
Certificate Request wizard throught the certificate mmc. The options
available via the web site are Administrator, Basic EFS, EFS Recovery Agent,
Subordinate Certification Authority, User and Web Server. The wizard only
offers a "Computer" Certificate Type.

Can anyone offer some advice?

TIA,
Steve

Just select the Web Server option. It will provide what you need in the way
of a certificate.
