 I'm working with Wndows Mobile 5.0 and VS 2005. I'm trying to figure a way
to create and send an email (like an automated alert/warning) from my
program and can't see how to do it. I've found no samples either. I had
assumed I'd use the Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Outlook interface.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I just have a side question for you. Is your application running on
the Pocket PC? Do you want an Email to be put into the inbox when some
event happens or do you want the device to send an Email when some
event happens? I used to work with this all of the time, and I will
try to help you when you answer my questions.

Hi Matt,

I am working with a Treo 700w which is available under the Windows Mobile
5.0 Pocket PC model, so the answer to your first question is 'yes'.

I want to be able to send an email from the Pocket PC application to some
other email user/account, either as a result of an event or because the user
chooses to do so. I am not trying to put an email into the user's inbox.

This is probably the best example I can find. I know that this sends a
message from the drafts, you can either simulate that, or actually
create a message in the drafts to use. Let me know if you ahve any
problems with this:
