I'm a beginner for Server 2003 administration and need to implement a simple
security configuration but I don't know the steps to take.

There are a few subdirectories within the D- disk at our server 2003. These
directories belong to some companies who have about 4-5 users per company.

D:\Company1 for users who are from 'Company1'
D:\Company2 for users who are from 'Company2'
D:\Company3 for users who are from 'Company3'

I want to achieve that after the user logs in via terminal server, he will
only see the company directory at the D-disk to which he belongs to in
explorer. So all other directories including the C- disk should be hidden in
explorer. Since this is a running situation and Active Directory isn't
installed and I am not experienced at all, I don't want to use Active
Directory for this sake at the moment.

How can I achieve this configuration?

Thanks Danny,

I've tried this however the shared directories still appear when one logs on
at the Terminal Server. I also read somewhere that this doesn't work for an
interactively login as Terminal Services.
