Current Setup.
Users and Full Access to their personal folder
Users only have write access in shared folders

I have users that often copy or move files from their personal folder to a
shared folder.

The files that were moved/copied contain the origional security from where
the file was origionally stored instead of having the new rights. As a
result, only the origional user has access to the files. This will require
myself to go in and reset the permissions so that everyone can access the
file.

Any ways to make it so that the new security is Always taken and that the
origional security is not?

That should only happen when folder/file is moved. There is no way to change
that and you should train users to copy instead on move. Your other
alternative is to create a script or batch file that can make sure
permissions are what you want. That would not happen automatically though
you could create a scheduled task to do it for you. Such a script/batch
could use cacls [built in], xcacls.vbs or fileacl for instance. However
those are powerful tools so be SURE to test them first on a test
computer/folder to make sure they work the way you want before implementing
and as always keep regular backups as part of best practice.

10. Know when to copy and when to move
Standard copy and move operations deliver default results that can maintain
your configured permissions--or break them. A good way to remember this is
that copy operations will create the permissions of the destination
container, and move operations will maintain that of the parent container.

Memorization mechanism: CC/MM--CopiesCreate/MovesMaintain or
CopiesCreate/MovesMake.

If you make the shared storage to which they move things
be on a different partition than the one where their private
storage is, then you will not have this issue.
