Hi Charlie!
Basically WDS uses Protocol Handlers to search databases and other data
stores. Outlook and Outlook Express are supported as these Protocol
Handlers were written and shipped with WDS. I'm not that familiar with
Turnpike but I'm suspecting that one of these would need to be written to
access what ever local store it keeps your email in on your system. If
Turnpike simply reads and displays email from the server, that would be a
much bigger issue.

One sidelight that may be of interest is that WDS does read .msg files. If
you can store your emails locally in a .msg format then all you'd need to do
is point WDS at the folder where they are kept...
