That card is overkill for Media Center even with HD &/or BluRay HD-DVD
playback. It's got a fan too. Far better to get a passively cooled Nvidia 850GT
or an ATI Radeon 2600 Pro for half the price.

It was a Memorial day special at a large local electronic store involving an
instate rebate and a mail in rebate. I do not remember the actual card
vendor or the features available on the card. I see that Newegg has some
good prices on 9600 GSO cards but they do not go under $100.

Both my wife and I have toshiba Laptops with Vista Premium. Both computers
change screens on there on. For example, I can be typing this and the screen
is minimized or switchs to another screen. Any help or suggestions? Thanks!
