Please log in for more thread options That doesn't mean anything. What you need is the model number (A100)
and the configuration suffix (-Sxxxx where xxxx is a 4-digit number).
If this model was sold with Vista, then what you have to do is identify
all of the chips used for the various functions (chipset, video, sound,
LAN, modem, etc.) and find another A100 or A105 model using the same
chipset that was sold with XP and use it's drivers. ***OR***, find
other non-Toshiba drivers for those chips that will work in the laptop
(not all drivers for the same chip will necessarily work). It's
possible, I've done this type of thing several times, but it can take 40
to 120 hours although in the case of Vista to XP, it will probably be
relatively easy, as these things go.
