You'll probably want to look into connecting your satellite receivers to a
dual tuner card on MCE via S-Video. Then, for distribution around the
house, look into using a Media Center Extender. Media Center needs to know
that it's the only one that can change the channel on the source.
I know that's not your plan, but I've found that it's nice to have an
extender that anyone can watch any recorded show, listen to music, or use
the Online Spotlight from another room. It's also nice that you can buy a
Windows Media Connect device and hook it into your stereo.
