Hello, I just upgraded my phone from the i730 to the i760. I uninstalled the
older version of ActiveSync that I had, then re-installed the new ActiveSync
4.5 from the Companion CD. I was able to set up the partnership and start
"syncing", after I figured out to disable the "advanced networking
capabilities". I thought that everything thing was fine until I looked in my
contacts and found that I was missing about 25 out of 75 contacts.
I deleted the old partnership, restarted the phone, and set it up again.
ActiveSync detects the correct number of contacts in Outlook to sync "0/75",
but it doesn't synch specific contacts for some reason. I even tried to go
into the contacts to edit them so that ActiveSync would re-discover them as
changed, but that didn't work either. It seems that my Calander items and
tasks are syncronizing correctly, but I haven't really looked into those too
much.
Please help,
Andy

Hi Andy,
You might want to run scanpst to see if it helps fix the issue. Refer -
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA100758311033.aspx
Sometimes, it might be due to some the contact having a very large note or
some embedded files. If you were to create a new contact with the any of the
missing contacts information, does that sync?
