Hello,
Wonder if anybody could advise me on some car charging options for the
Samsung i600 (Sprint PCS is the carrier). I'm running Windows Mobile
2003.
I used to have a CCM Navigator for my last Samsung SCH-8500 phone. And
it worked pretty well, since it was made for it and wasn't universal.
Right now, it seems my options are:
1) CCM Universal Hands-free. One website says the Expert version has a
cable for the Samsung i500. Does the i500 use the same cables/ports as
the i600? I know the OS is different. Anybody have any experience with
this? The i600 already has a built-in speakerphone, so I don't really
need that part. But it'd be nice to have a docking cradle that charges.
2) Mini-sync in combination with either DirectSync or VersaCharger. The
Versacharger looks pretty good since it also has a wall outlet plug.
I've seen some posts about the mini-sync acting weird (turning the
radio off) depending on whether the phone was flipped open or not.
Frankly I didn't quite understand the problem, any explanations for a
newbie? Mini-snc would be nice since I could use my computer to sync
and charge. Any reviews?
3) Standard vehicle charger
Basically I'd like a all-in-one solution if possible with a charger and
mount, such that I can use the VoiceSignal dial thing on the phone
(which I absolutely love!). I've already got the headset that came with
the phone. Speakerphone is not really a priority, since it's built-in.
Thanks in advance,
Serge
