Can anyone tell me if it is possible to receive phone calls while running
TomTom 5 Mobile on an SPV C500?

Of course it is. Not much point if it prevented the phone side from
functioning. When an incoming call arrives it switches to the call and then
returns to nav once the call is in progress or has hung up.

Thanks for the info - I had seen a review where it said that phone calls
were disabled as a safety feature!

I have got my Seidio car kit working fine (TomTom and incoming calls!). Just
need to find out how to hard wire the 12v supply so I can do away with the
curly wire to the cigar lighter for a tidier finish.
