I have had an SMT5600 for approximately 9 months. Recently, the
battery life has started to decline. Do these batteries have a memory,
where every once in a while you have to let it drain all the way before
recharging, or is it just old and needs to be replaced. I have also
dropped it a couple of times over the past few weeks, once really hard
on pavement. I hope that is not related. It seems to be functioning
normally except for decline in battery life. Should I just get another
battery??
