I need to do a hard reboot. If I backup & then restore, what will I be able
to restore.

Can I do a selective restore? Since I don't want to restore my problem in
Contacts?

Richard

Hi Richard,

Which application are you using to perform a backup & restore? If its
ActiveSync, then you will not be able to restore selectively. It will
restore the entire state of the device as it was during the backup
operation.

What is the problem you are facing in your Contacts?

You can easily delete the contents of the Contacts database, as has been
pointed out in several of my articles (for example, the one on SKTools 3.x).
That is, if it's only Contacts that, for example, causes your PPC to
malfunction, you can easily get rid of its content without even needing to
hard reset

I am sorry that I have not read your articles. I would like to read an
article that explains how to delete the Contacts on my PPC. Then I could
just syc & the computer would put it back correctly.

That is what I would like to do. Can you help me?

Richard
