Our Exchange 2003 SP2 configuration consists of two, WLBS front end
servers with SSL installed. Our users who use Windows Mobile 5
smartphones are configured to sync with these front-end servers using
SSL. Our cert on the front-end is about to expire (a Verisgn cert), so
I went and grabbed a new cert from Geotrust and installed it on the
front-ends. When I do that, the Mobile 5 devices can no longer sync
(I'll have to get the eror from the user and post). As soon as I put
the original cert back into the front-ends, the mobile devices work
fine. If I had just renewed the original Verisign cert, do I have to
do any kind of configuration on the mobile devices (i.e. do I ned to
install the cert onto the phones)? Also, when a user connects with a
new mobile 5 phone for the first time, as long as the cert is one of
the 5 or 6 root certs already on the phone, is there any additional
confgs necessary?
Thanks in advance!
