Hi!
How can I remove the XT9 text feature from the Dash smartphone?
Is there an entry in the Registry editor that I can change?
Regards,
Teo

1. You can always disable xt9 by long-pressing * and selecting 'abc'

2. completely removing HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Software\Tegic\eT9\
AvailableLanguages MIGHT help (see

If you're using WM5, it's a pain -- you can shut it off, but it always comes
back on. This is fixed in WM6; you shut it off and it stays off...

Thanks for pointing this out; will check out whether it can be fixed. Will
report back as soon as I have some results.
