Having read several of the posts and tried the various recommended solutions,
I'm still not able to get my xbox media center to maintain a connection for
more than 1 minute.

I get the following message from the event veiwer - system
Remote Media Center session was logged off because system validation failed.

I do have Norton Internet Security & AntiVirus 2005 installed, but have
attempted disabling both.

I do not have any Fat32 partitions on my system.

I have confirmed that the remote desktop exception is checked in the Windows
Firewall.

I do not have Windows Media Connect installed or any Spyware app.

And as if it hadn't been mentioned before... tech support is non-existent
for this problem. My pc was built by Dell, and they tell me to call
Microsoft. Microsoft Xbox support tells me to call Dell.

HELP ME PLEASE! I shelled out the money for an xbox and extender, just so I
could watch the recorded shows on my TV instead of on my monitor.

Could you look under the following registry key and tell me what are listed
as UPPERFILTERS?
(Start --> "regedit" <enter> --> navigate to the reg key)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CCS\CONTROL\CLASS\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE
