Is it possible to connect to my companies server, via Remote Desktop or
perhaps Citrix, via a Smartphone?

as far as I can remember it is possible only through VNC, not through remote
desktop (terminal client).
it's possible only from pocket pc , not smartphone.

You could try our software PTvncS available from
Handango, PocketGear etc. - trial version available.

yes, but VNC is not the same as remote desktop protocol. VNC is open source
and remote desktop protocol is from Microsoft.

Yes, but remote desktop doesn't exist on the Smartphones as
you said previously :-)
