 I unchecked some startup processes through msconfig under the startup tab and
I think I may of disabled the remote control for Windows Media Center. How
can I reset the RC once again?

Please log in for more thread options
 Start>Run>type in: msconfig>OK

Under the Startup tab scroll down to "ehtray" and make sure that
"ehtray" is checked.

Start>Run>type in:services.msc>OK

Scroll down to "Media Center Receiver Service" and make sure it is set
to 'automatic'.Reboot the machine.

Thank you,
ehtray is checked, under services the "Media Center Receiver Service" is set
to automatic. The only button on the control that seems to work is the
"standby", all others don't respond. Any other suggestions?
