My phone has stopped syncronizing. Using AC4.2.

Tried to sync with an other computer but same problem occures.

When I connect the phone, the "connected" sound plays but the Active sync
sais "Connecting". Nothing happens.
After a while, a popup box apperars, saying "Activesync cannot to the
Windows Mobile powered device. To troubleshoot the problem, klick OK."

Next, this comes up:

Unable to establish a connection between the PC and the device. Get
up-to-date solutions to common connection problems. Please click the

t´s about
ActiveSync Cannot Receive Data Through Port 990

The USB port is allowed in Activesync.

All firewalls are turned off.

I was planning to REINSTALL the WM5 OS, but a working USB connection is
requuired. Or? Is there an alternative to this?

What can I do?

Thank you very much in advance.

You can check to see if DHCP client service is running on your system, if not
start it and try again.

I tried to sync with a Qtek 9000 with everything the same, and it worked.

Probably there is some internal software/ hardware problem so I have sent it
to service.

But the questin remains, is it possible to reinstall the OS without
Activesync? Via SDcard perhaps? Or other ideas?

Thanx for trying to answer.
