I have been reading a thread in Discussion Group dated 1/17/05 about changing
the registry and that is what I need to do I think, however I have not done
this before and would like some help clearifing the process. Under jpg & jpeg
I have 2 antries each, under name (DEFAULT on the first one and the 2nd is
PSASE30>BAK and under TYPE both have REG_SZ and under DATA it has
PhotoSuite.Image. There is no "PERCEIVEDTYPE" and if I add perceivedtype as a
third line I can't change the TYPE or DATA coloum. Can any one help . The
reason I need the change is because I can't view pictures in Media Center
THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME

Right click on the name "perceived type" and select modify. Type the
new value in the "Value Data" box. OK your way out.

If anyone posts a reply disagreeing with the above, think twice about
doing it, in case I'm isleading you :-)
