Hello, I know this may be a really silly question, but I want to buy some
dvds from ebay but they happen to be a different region as I would usually
buy region 4 as I live in Australia. But I have windows media center and
vista on my computer and was wondering if this allows my computer to play
all regions. How would I find this out?
Thanks
Kimbra

DVD region codes:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_region_codes

You can change the region of your DVD a limited number of times, but you can
not play all regions except Region 0 (zero)
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/archive/dvdregion.mspx

And here:

The simplest way to bypass all DVD region coding is to use something like
AnyDVD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AnyDVD
