I m having a client server setup with 2003 R2 installed in both the
sytems...
now when i m sending a remote request by WinRM command through command
line..it not able to cmplete the request...
because earlier i was doing that in Vista setup machines by same
command,it was able to do..

now i have modified the resource URI in the R2 command, added the
listener also ,made the authentications(basic, negotiate) to true..but
still request not able to cmplete..

Please guide, what else i can do with this R2 setup...

Vicky
Microsoft Protocol Team.

WinRM must be installed manually. Open up Add/Remove Programs and
check [x] Hardware Management under Management and Monitoring Tools.
Other than that, without knowing the command or the error, it is
difficult to say what the problem is.

What WinRM command are you running, and what is the result?

i have already done that stuff regarding hardware management...and
that thing is also wrking fine....
actually on client machine when i m running folllowing command in
command propmt...

winrm get
http://schemas.microsoft.com/wsman/2005/06/wmi/cimv2/win32_service?Name=Winmgmt

then its showing properties in Winmgmt service very well on same
machine...but when i m trying same command for applying it onto remote
machine by writing :

winrm get
http://schemas.microsoft.com/wsman/2005/06/wmi/cimv2/win32_service?Name=Winmgmt
-r:server.domain.com

then instead of giving the Winmgmt of server machine, its showing the
prop. of client machine rather than of server machine..thoug its not
giving any error..
