If all your recorded content is analog you might try going to
settings>TV>Recorder>Recorder Storage>and then select the drive or partition
that contains the missing content, click save and then go to computer, select
that partition/drive, go to Recorded TV in Documents and Setting/All Users
and move the missing content into the newly created folder "Recorded TV. Now
when you check your recorded tv programs you should see the missing content.
If any of it is "protected" it will show up but when selected it will come up
as "Restricted Content" and can't be viewed. Then go back and switch
recorder storage to your preferred partition/drive for tv viewing. This
process can be used to set up storage on additional hard drives for future
recorded content. I have 7 "Recorded TV" folders on my hard drives. Good
luck.
